A quiet hideaway, Wool Bay has a long jetty and is a very popular squidding spot.
On the cliff tops are remains of the lime kilns that once were common on this part of the peninsula. The beach is great for swimming in summer and has a public shelter shed which is a meeting point for all holiday makers.
Get your supplies from nearby Stansbury or Edithburgh as there is no shop in this sleepy town.
Approx 2.5 hours from Adelaide.
