Once you get to Port Rickaby, you tend to want to stay ! Drive through farmland to get there and the place has only one way in and one way out, so it certainly has that "hidden" feel about it.
"Rickaby" to the locals is well resourced for visitors and holiday makers and the family friendly beach is definitely a gem.
The long jetty is great for swimming and jumping off or fishing. Many "shacks" line the beach - just cross the road and you are there.
A small shop which services the caravan park also provides basics for holiday makers. Shop at nearby Minlaton, a 10 minute drive away for everything you will need.
Approx 2 and a bit hours from Adelaide.
